Charlbury Bowls Club is a friendly, community-based club which was established in 1934 with a two-lane rink at the cricket ground in Dyers Hill. After two moves, we settled at our current site in 1996. We provide leisure and competition for all ages at all levels of ability, and already hold several non-sporting events at our premises as the club has continually striven to be part of the community.
Facilities
The Club has a generously sized clubhouse which is surrounded by its own grounds, hedgerows and trees. It has a well-stocked licensed bar and kitchen to provide catering.
The excellent Bowling Green is now regarded as one of the best surfaces in the county. Indoors, our two short-mat bowls rinks provide competitive opportunities for our teams and individuals all year round.
We have a large car park, in a quiet location in Charlbury.
