Short-Mat Bowls is played indoors throughout the year.. We have two full size rinks (mats) each measuring 45 feet. The basic rules are similar to those of outdoor bowls. During the Short-Mat Season, club roll-ups normally take place at 7pm on Monday and Thursday evenings, and at 2pm on Friday afternoons.

The club enters teams in local leagues run by OSMBA https://osmba.leaguerepublic.com/index.html

We play friendly matches against local clubs, both home and away, usually on a Sunday afternoon.

In addition to our own club competitions, players may enter the National Competitions and County Competitions in singles, pairs, triples, and fours. All details are posted on the noticeboards in the clubhouse.
